Auricular therapy, also known as Auricular Reflexology, and Auriculotherapy, is a system of treating many conditions and/or pain using ear pellets/seeds on the outer ear.

Auricular therapy can be added on to the end of your Reflexology treatments to help enhance the stimulation of the reflexes and provide self help guidance.

What the treatment involves
An initial consultation for new clients will ask questions to discover the possible causes and areas involved and the reason for treatment. Conditions other than pain are then treated using the Auricular therapy protocols, so a full history is taken in order to ensure that the most appropriate and effective treatment is given. Auricular therapy will be given following your reflexology treatment.
Auricular therapy is ideal in that clients do not need to disrobe or remove any items of clothing as only the ears need to be accessible.
Once finding out the reason for treatment, certain points are stimulated either by massaging/pressing the point on your ear or in some cases by using a stimulation acupuncture pen, on the outer side of your ear. After each point, you might be asked if you can take a short walk (around 30 seconds to a minute) in order to stimulate the nervous system. If mobility is an issue then this can be overcome by with moving the legs or arms. The whole process will take around 10 – 15 minutes following your reflexology session.
Ear seeds will be used to further enhance and to stimulate the point. These are either silver or gold with a transparent round 7 diameter hypo-allergenic plaster to hold them in place. These are left on for you to rub/press to stimulate the point further when necessary.

£35: For 45 min Reflexology Treatment, 15 min Auricular Therapy treatment

£40: For 1 hour Reflexology Treatment, 15 min Auricular therapy treatment
